Leader In Me:

For the month of February we will be learning all about habit 5: seek first to understand then be understood. We will have an assembly to kick start this new habit. This habit is all about empathetic listening. Listening with the attempt to understand where someone is coming from, before telling them your side or advice.

Note from Gym Teacher Mr. Guell:

Next week Monday we will have our rollerblading safety talk and hand out items for Kids Heart Challenge. 

Please help remind the students to label any equipment they bring in a labeled bag as well. Please send a reminder home if possible about bringing in their equipment (helmet and pads).

Kids Heart Challenge is an optional online only fundraiser for the American Heart Association that will run through the month of February. More info to follow.
